Not excplicitly pointing on sub-zero temperatures.<br>Also, as i can recall, in Rouge Trader in few cutscenes there were similar on-screen icy-vignette effect, representing same thing.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROIOREux7SM&amp;t=1131">18:51</a> it&apos;s a basic concept of armor angling. if you position a piece of material in such a way that a projectile doesn&apos;t hit it head on, it causes the projectile to not deliver as much force onto the material on top of potentially diverting the projectile&apos;s path. mathematically it&apos;s as if you increase the amount of material the projectile has to penetrate without adding more material.<br><br>this is why tanks look the way they do

  When I first saw the Astartes episodes, I assumed they were supposed to be Grey Knights, the secretive Space Marine chapter working with the Inquisition. The Grey Knights also wear grey-silver mostly unadorned power armour, and all of them are Psychers (although a few of them are psychic Blanks) and specifically trained to fight daemons and psychic xenos (like the Eldar). But I can understand that Syama Pedersen wanted to make them his own spin-off chapter so he wouldn&apos;t step on GW&apos;s feet in regard to Grey Knight lore.

Xenarites is a secretive sect of Tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus that seek to study and make use of xenos technology. Necron tech often. And non-puritanic Inquisitors are often cooperates with them.

  i&apos;m pretty sure it just cracked the lense, not ruptured the eyeball... astartes healing is fast but not that fast. also, if i remember correctly, the creator confirmed that the Retributors chapter (even when they were just his homebrew creation and not official yet) we&apos;re supposed to be highly resistant to psychic attack, more so than most chapters.
