  You&apos;re missing the fact that Sainsbury&apos;s taste the difference range has a much lower protein level than most quality pastas

  1) Pasta should NEVER go in the microwave (or a can!). 2) Always take the pasta out of the water 1 or 2 minutes before it&apos;s al dente and mix it with the sauce and a little pasta water to finish cooking it in the sauce. 3) If you want stuffed pasta, make your own and if you think you don&apos;t have the time, eat something else. <br><br>The good, dried pasta brands are (in no particular order and insofar as I&apos;ve been able to obtain): <br>1) De Cecco; <br>2) Garofalo; <br>3) Liguori; <br>4) Giuseppe Cocco; <br>5) La Molisana; <br>6) Rummo. <br>This list is for both dried semolina pasta and dried egg pasta. This video is surprisingly accurate in describing how to judge the pasta you are looking to buy. But keep in mind that some shapes look a little darker than others (farfalle, casarecce) but still not as yellow as Barilla.

  Surely everybody knew that spaghetti doesn&apos;t cling to sauce. Hence Tagliatelli and the shaped pasta that has crevices to contain the sauces.

  As an Italian who has spent twenty six years in London and love eating as well as exercise there are only two pasta brands in my book &nbsp;DeCecco and Rummo. &nbsp;Shame on you &nbsp;Rana&apos;s &nbsp;brothers and Barilla.

  Thanks for another good video. Any chance of covering loose tea brands? &nbsp;I gave up tea bags last year and went back to loose tea like I used in the 1950s as a kid. I am disappointed with the lack of flavour in Yorkshire tea and a couple of own brands which are cheaper for an obvious reason in some cases.

  OCADO USERS: Garofolo Spaghetti is on sale, currently for £1.35 for 500g. It&apos;s a bronze die, Italian durum wheat semolina 14% protein and IGP.
