I refuse to go to a church for this reason. I think I can find God outside of the Bible. I think he's so powerful, the book just gets in the way. I'll use that time to volunteer.

I really love the way to speak about these subjects. There's no vitriol or ridicule. There just explanation, personal sharing, and an invitation to stand in one's one ability to think and love. I like that a lot! 💚

I'll never forget watching the History channel as a teen and seeing a special on the dead sea scrolls and other lost manuscripts. One in particular that got me thinking was the story of Lilith, the first woman created before Eve. In all my childhood going to church, I never heard anything about her story. I then found out it was ripped out and hidden for quite some time and it got me thinking " What rise has been removed?" <br>I learned not to blindly trust, even if it is "THE WORD OF GOD", as many churches will teach.

Hey John, how are you, brother? Wanna tell you a little story. A few months back mormans came to my house, and I talked to them, just being nice, being like Jeshua, ya know? The mistake I made was giving them my number, but I didn't hear from them until after Easter and they was like, " Can we come talk. I replied with. ”if you can answer this question you can come and preach” Then I asked if God is all-knowing why did he needed to test Abraham by telling him to scarifice Issac, if he already knew Abraham was faithful. They didn't reply. Also, I call myself a New Age Pagan because to me God is nature. Bless be ✌️🏼

Very interesting. As a new Catholic, I've been having these same thoughts. Considering leaving the church as a result, but at the same time it's become where my friends are so in a way, I'm stuck now. I bite my tongue more often than not rather than be at fault for someone choosing what they choose to believe on my account.

Anything that needs God's authority to seem smart probably isn't. I've learned to expect some dumb tirade the moment someone says "God said"

To paraphrase my new favorite bishop: “The Bible isn’t the word of god, it’s a collection of words about god. “ for centuries it was fluid. To lock the canon was to exert control over the system.

As a Christian, who has been in a few different denominations. I found that when I combine both Gnostic with Christianity, it all seems to come together. A lot of just plain Christianity left me with too many questions. But when I add the Gnostic teachings to Christianity, a lot of falls into place. When you see that God in the Old Testament is a fallen God, with a real God over the God in the Bible, which explains why all the claims about the Old Testament God didn't match, they contradicted each other. Jesus came down earth to lead people back to the real God, who is complete energy or source, that God and Heaven are in us, while we live our current life, not in a future far away place.
