  some tips for the roofing mod: you can lock frames in specific positions with the hammer (in case you want a certain shape but it keeps changing because you place frames next to it). you can chisel the base blocks, just can&apos;t add already-chiseled blocks as base blocks. you can also make glass roofs with glass slabs, you can find all the unique roofs in the handbook guide.<br>amazing build as always!

  Aww yeah, annoying enough to get mentioned twice!<br><br>Always fun to see your delight at the creative freedom that vintage story gives you. For a builder of your caliber, I imagine coming to vintage story after the other block game is like getting to take the training weights off.<br><br>You hit most of the big points, though there were a few that you missed. <br>1) The manual configuration is for you to force the game to place a certain roof incline. Generally speaking, I advise against using this (I have found the mod&apos;s shaping algorithm to be smarter than I am), but it will be helpful if you want a chimney to piece through the middle of your roof, and said roof is not 1x1 grade. <br>2) When you use fill a block under the roof frame, it must not be chiseled. However, after the fill block has been placed, you CAN chisel it. If you don&apos;t want to chisel it again and again, you can use the creative mode pick block on the roof, and it will include the fill block with it. I&apos;ve not experimented much with this, but maybe it would be useful. In survival, I think the QP chisel mod tools are compatible too.<br>3) You don&apos;t actually need the plank cladding for shingles, though I agree it does look really nice. Do be aware that some roofs will not work with a plank cladding (Glass and stone cannot use plank cladding). If I recall correctly, the mod currently has plank, log, and metal plate claddings. Which brings me to the next point:<br>4) You have unlocked a bunch of different roof types here. You can use stone, thatch, two different styles of sod roofing, and glass (Easy skylights, anyone?). And I think I am forgetting one or two. For more details open your crafting handbook and type in &quot;roofing.&quot; There are two entries which will list all the different types of roofs you can use. Do note that the sod roof allows you to put grass, mushrooms, and flowers on it. Possibly berry bushes too, but I haven&apos;t tested it. Perfect for any bog witch/goblincore buildings!

  Yay glad you’re trying out the roofing mod, it’s so good! &nbsp;Idk how to access it in creative but in the handbook it adds two guide pages on how to make roofs (for survival purposes) and all the recipients for roofs, def should look at all the options <br>(Also the mod page itself has a useful diagram on how to add low angle corners that’s real helpful) <br>Making a barn roof with metal works so well btw

  Seeing an interior would be nice, but I would love to see a &quot;How To&quot; video on this mod. I followed along with the trial and error and then the time skip to the framing and it looks great, but if you could put a short video together on how you used the mod to get all the peaks and valleys and eaves, placing the shingles and basically getting to that end product... that would be awesome!

  Now you&apos;ve tried and have the power of sun...er, VS roofing on your hand, it&apos;s time to revisit the greenhouse build.<br>Using the vsroofing you can make pretty fantastic looking greenhouses!

  BTW you can place chiseled blocks as base blocks. You just have to place a normal block and then chisel it once it is in 👍🏼

  YES! You tried the VS roofing!!! <br>It&apos;s one of my 7 obligatory mods in VS, right beside Stone Oven, Hidrate, Butchering, Carry On, Smithing Plus and Sticks From Firewood.

  I don&apos;t get how you are getting just the boards to add between the frames at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0vHFl3H_CE&amp;t=1191">19:51</a>. When I do that it adds another frame or the entire wood block. I&apos;m holding boards in my hand and using shift like you are but it doesn&apos;t work. I don&apos;t have the Shift + Right click option, only right click.
