  this is actually my favorite way to play vintage story. it’s so nice to actually struggle for food and resources.

  The chisel is 100% a time sink but is a great advertisement for getting the one mod that lets you copy chiseled blocks to paste them to existing blocks<br><br>Edit: A &quot;time sink&quot; and a &quot;waste of time&quot; are very different things. And it&apos;s very common in art to use tools and techniques to make the process faster that DOESN&apos;T sacrifice creative input. If you design a lamp post and need to build it 15 times and the first one took you an hour to piece together, certainly you&apos;ll get a little faster as you rebuild them but it isn&apos;t a sin to take a pantograph to YOUR OWN WORK and make it easier on yourself if you want to. Since the creative aspect of designing the lamppost is done.<br>I cannot believe I have to clarify this but as it was brought to my attention, some people might misunderstand it as laziness and lack of creativity rather than QoL and ease of access.

  Having any nine of eleven cuttings fail is actually REMARKABLY unlikely. It&apos;s a little less than a coinflip each time, and comes out to approximately 0.519% for all eleven. Much lower than the 10% you estimated.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkid8GCpOA4&amp;t=2214">36:54</a> as a helpful heads up, the reinforced rotor you smithed was from the power mod you have installed not millwright. I believe the sails you made are from the power mod as well, hence them not working together. The eight arm windmill is glorious and works about as quickly as a smithy full of dwarves on meth. Great vid as always!
