  The information presented in this video was factual and unbiased. The only way you will actually know the quality of this new formulation is to run it through an oil change cycle and see if there are any appreciable differences in oil analysis. My best guess is that there will be very little measurable difference in engine wear and protection. Pennzoil, and other premium synthetic oil manufactures are facing an industry wide shortage of premium base stock from which to formulate their unique brands. As a result of this industry wide supply shortage, pricing have risen for many premium synthetics brands recently, not just Pennzoil's Platinum line. It's not price gouging, its supply and demand dictating the retail price increase.

  Actualmente estoy usando el Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20, y en el uso se siente muy bien, pero lo que me molesta es la duda del cambio de formulación, tal vez mejoraron un poco con Pao y Esteres para tratar de compenzar. Pero la duda sigue ahí, estoy considerando pasar a Chevron Havoline Full synthetic, por lo menos es una fórmula muy equilibrada,  no tiene nada que ocultar y de paso ahorro dinero.

  As long as it still says Dexos 1 Gen 3 on the bottle it's fine.  Changing your oil every 5000 miles max is more important.

  Considering all that, if you drive a turbo car, change the oil every 3000-5000 miles depending on driving conditions. More than that is risky for your engine.

  I'M done with Pennzoil this is B.S and the price went way up for an even lesser oil. I have 13 vehicles that I used Pennzoil platinum and ultra platinum not no more.

  I never used it anyway....i use Mobil 1 or valvoline.. .Castrol Edge.
