Many farmers re-purposed their cribs to handle shelled corn for several years and the Kewanee elevators would handle shelled corn as long as you didn't overload it, since shelled corn weighed more than ear corn. Memories of days gone by

Our farm had a Kewanee elevator with Briggs & Stratton motor, and when dad put up a dyer bin, a Kewanee auger showed up, In the 70's a Kewanee chisel plow came to the farm, the start of saving the soil from the moldboard plow.

Pulled a Kewanee disk at my uncle's farm in the 70's . <br>My grandfather had the Kewanee elevator with a Continental motor to run it.
