When I was recovering from cancer treatment, I couldn’t face going to the gym and needed something very gentle to ease me back in to exercise. I subscribed to MadFit and loved her approach. Without these workouts, I would have struggled to find a routine. Maybe not for everyone but there is definitely a place in the workout space for kind, slow, modular approach.

I’m a cross fitter who got diagnosed with Lyme disease, and for a good while I wasnt even able to get out of bed. Workouts like her “lazy girl floor workout” were how I got moving again after becoming de conditioned from being on my death bed lol. They really helped me get over the hump and back to working out hard again!

I'm a vegan of 12 years, and also a protein-obsessed gym girl. I SO RARELY see this level of respect and understanding given to vegan diets in the fitness space. I appreciate it, Dr. Mike!!

MadFit is the only reason I exercise at all. I started with beginner videos and almost died during the 10 min workout. Now, almost 3 years later, I am training with weights, still following her exercises.

Some people just need a beginner friendly and nonjudgmental, safe environment to start their fitness journey. I don't mind practices like this at all, sometimes this is all some people have.

Loving the comments here in support of Maddie. Channels like hers really helped a lot of people (mostly beginners) especially during the pandemic. They make workouts accessible and less intimidating. Tbh her content made working out a habit for me

My wife and I normally alternate between weight training and yoga/mobility, but today we tried Madfit's "Lazy Girl Workout" today because we were both tired, middle aged, recovering from injuries and life, and too hot/humid from the weather here lately without air conditioning. We thought it was going to be like a recovery workout. Surprisingly, the workout was a lot more challenging than we expected. It starts out easy, but by around the middle of the workout, we were both groaning and complaining, and then couldn't complete some of hip/leg exercises for the full durations because of the burn. I was satisfied by the workout.

Nah. I stand by such workout influencers. When you're a beginner, you're a beginner and people like this got me off the couch and allowed me to actually start from somewhere. Then moved to her more advanced ones and other more advanced workouts. So I will always stand by these people.
