  If your partner is looking for a “signature scent”, they do not want you to buy a generic cologne online.<br>It could be cute to take them out to a department store or perfumery, try out a bunch of scents, and then buy them the one they like the most, but if your partner hasn’t specifically said they want a certain cologne, you should not make that decision for them.

  i have a tradition of making my husband raspberry and white chocolate muffins. he looks forward to valentines day every year and says things like &quot;only 3 days till muffin day&quot; its the cutest thing that i also look forward to and it doesn&apos;t cost the earth.

  If everyone is gifting you seasonal blankets and you have a massive stash… please consider donating them to local homeless shelters or even a homeless person you see in the street. They don’t care if it’s Santa/halloween/valentines themed, they care if they can keep warm in it. If you have space somewhere you can also keep them and donate to earthquake/disaster relief when there is a sudden need. Kids in a disaster would probably really appreciate a colourful bright blanket with Santa or hearts on.

  My favorite Valentine’s gift from my now husband was in 2018. We had watched a late 90s teen movie where the guy made the girl a mixed tape. I expressed my disappointment that because my parents had a strict no-dating rule in high school, I missed out on the mixed tape/cd era. He tucked that tidbit away for months and got me a usb stick that folds up into a fake cassette tape that was filled with his favorite music. I still have it!
