80 miles is a fantastic achievement with so little experience. I've been riding on the road for several years now and still the farthest I've done in a day is 100 km.

2 mile commute to 80 mile endurance ride is amazing! I’ve ridden from Boise to Notus to Nampa and back to Boise a few times to get 100 miles in. Training your butt to sit in the saddle that long is just as important as training your muscles. Great job and ride on!

I've been training for years and never done more than 85 miles in a single ride. And I have the right kind of tires for the terrain I'm on too :)<br>You did way better than I would have expected.

Cool video! I googled your mystery animal and it's a pronghorn! Fun fact: pronghorn are extraordinary runners. They can reach roughly 55–60 mph, making them the fastest land animal in North America. Unlike a cheetah, they can also maintain very high speeds for quite a while.
