  The visual showing the USS Intrepid at the beginning of the episode was part of the digital remastering and was not seen when the show originally aired.

  Can you imagine how expensive those books would be now? <br><br>Also, this episode was the 15th episode produced, counting The Cage as the first. The episode you had seen prior was actually something like the twenty-something episode. The next episode produced after this was conveniently “The Menagerie”. The episode before was “The Galileo Seven”. <br><br>That speech by Sam Cogley is one of my favorites!

  Elisha Cooke as attorney Cogley NAILS IT, when he says, for the most part, that it&apos;s Humanity in the face of an increasing A.I. - (&amp; this was written over 60 years ago ! !)

  Your summation that Jamie found out her father was alive was the ONLY reason I can believe why her attitude suddenly changed 180 degrees... I never heard that theory before. &nbsp;When you said &quot;Take that away&quot; referring to Spock escorting Jamie out of the room was hysterical!! &nbsp;I love this episode; it&apos;s worth a top score from me if only for Kirk&apos;s response to the Commodore offering to sweep the accusations under the rug, like &quot;That&apos;s as far you you go sir! .. &nbsp; &nbsp;Draw it? I demand it and right now Commodore, right now!&quot;... Classic 😄❤

  1. This is an episode that gets better as it goes along.<br>2. Cogley/Elisha Cook Jr. was an American character actor famed for his work in film noir.<br>3. FWIW &quot;Star Trek TOS&quot; is celebrating it&apos;s 60th anniversary on H&amp;I network over the Labor Day weekend. 👑
