I also love how realistic Araki always write his character developments, people irl change very slowly and can subject to the wrongs they already learned about. After Johnny got to zero, he learned to love the ones close to him, but he was still a human being with selfish desire. He tried to do exactly what he prevented Valentine to do on a smaller scale, knowing it is not the right thing to do. Only after he suffered the consequences of that that he learned not to do it again and take on the curse himself.

Jodio's growth will be the most interesting I think. He's frustrated over the systems him and his family are subjected to thus he lives a dog-eat-dog lifestyle with no remourse. If he's truly meant to mirror Giorno, I think Jodio will have to come across something that breathes winds of hope into his soul. And that thing could be the lava rock or something else entirely. Something to show that he isnt bound or subjugated by any system that's constructed to undermine him. Great vid as always, man

why didn’t i ever think about that!!! the joestars from the new universe go through their journey to end up just where original jojos began. this makes so much sense and also just so beautiful and interesting. thank you for that amazing analysis

I hope that new writers/director in media will take this concept of intercontinental reboot in a great way for making a new fresh start in reboots.

I love how your analysis show how you actually read JoJo and think about the art of it. I always think of all these things but it's usually so hard to see a deep analysis in social media (where everything is either trash or peak)

I would add that, about Jodio, he clearly has a trigger-word regarding the 'absurd'— something that is prevalent in all of The JOJOLands main characters. Unfair and unpredictable calamities on life that forced them to go down and suffer, especially within an established system. Even Howler shares this trait.

I guess Jodio will also mirror this aspect, since, despite his lack natural empathy as a psychopath, he clearly understands in his very skin how it feels to be mistreated and exploited by crooked people on uncontrollable situations.

Great video!

I can't help but feel that the Steel Ball Run universe is almost akin to the "Absolute" universe in DC right now. Both universe are where they seem more grounded in gray areas and it feels like the universe itself is more oppressive to it heroes or main characters. Hope has to burn brighter in both respective universe's and for heroism to truly shine they must all reach their 0 point to truly become the people we have seen before. Not to say they aren't their own whole characters but It feels so similar to Absolute DC.

It makes me wonder what versions of joseph, jotaro, and jolyne starting in the negative might look like, and how their journeys might play out. makes me wish we couldve gotten 12 parts

You know you are hearing an OG talk 'cause they call Part 5 "Vento Aureo" Instead of "Golden Wind"
