  There is no telling when the DNA got onto the shawl. Because of this, it cannot be seen as proof that Kosminsky was Jack the Ripper.

  There was a BBC documentary in 1988 that had a panel of &apos; experts &apos; discussing who they thought the Ripper was. It included two FBI Agents from the Behavioral Science Unit, John Douglas, who basically created the science of profiling, and William Eckert. Their conclusion, based on behavioral evidence and the proximity of the murders to the suspects residence, was that Aaron Kosminski committed the murders. This was before hardly anyone had heard of Kosminski, the prime suspects at the time were Montague Druitt and Dr William Gull.
