hi Ritchie watched this one this morning some good info on the gas valve voltages. well sussed out on the gas valve as they can be a bast%$d up and running again for the customer without more unnecessary parts. the blue rinse brigade strike again. tbh dont think they got the experienced staff they all left down to too many changes detrimental by their management to the original staff.💯❤👍👍

I think the engineers are told that if the boiler is 10 years plus old they recommend a replacement. A way of getting new installs offered to customers on finance so they make more money that way. Plus they probably flog them a hive aswell🤔😁🤣

Blue companies engineers don't have the time to investigate! They'll fix the obvious, and if it doesn't work then force customers to get new boiler under their insurance! ... Great video

Nice upload brother..
After resetting the gas valve i thought the problem would have been the bearing plate washer... but fair play to you.. a little more tweaking within the M.I's..
Thanks for the voltage heads up on the gas valve coil packs... everydays a school day

The blue company have had unwrittrn guidelines where the engineers are now salesmen and when I worked for them had qudos points they had to achieve to make their bonus. Enough said,,,

if that was after bg that person/s needs to be removed. or at least retrained.

are bg using sub contract companies in your area? the vans used to be labelled (signage on vans) as working with british gas or something similar but they were liveried up to look like british gas vans.

or it's just a corrupt bg from the top down.

gold star customer(white goods, electrics, drains, gas) thermostatic mixer/shower tap(hose off the bottom or top of the spout) tap was dripping keeping the person awake (dripping into bath) so cartridge change right. no they sent dynorod out who removed the whole tap(and took the customers tap off site, no asking the customer if they could take it away) and replaced it with a manual non thermostatic bath mixer/shower. when asked/challenged it's not a like for like replacement................

good job rj heating another one saved. you used to work for them, are condemned boilers somehow converted to a monetary payment for the engineer who condemned it? would explain the screwing around(possibly) with gas valve right? you know i know gas valves dont drift like that in 12 months usually.

i noticed you didnt strip it down. full service kit recommended to customer i hope and a full strip down service cost. new top seal new electrodes new"rubber" gas pipe that and that bit that bit that leaks on water side ;) change the bearing plate while the burners off. not included in service kit.
