  Nailed it!  I’ll add one more thing. Know your pricing!  I recently found a watermelon that was $2.00 higher than my local Sobeys!

  All stores use placement of items to get you to pass other items. That’s why milk and dairy are always at the farthest corner from the door

  My main purchase at Costco is gas - always 5 to 10 cents cheaper. I discovered that the customer must know their prices when shopping. It is not uncommon to find specific items cheaper per unit at conventional stores. "Bulk buying" can be a trap.

  Just buying cream for my coffee every week at Costco for me as an individual pays for my Executive membership, everything after that is savings. Those random purchases like beach chairs, hammock, canoe I still use 10 years later and are still in very good condition. There is risk from every vendor to us , Costco limits that risk. Good points in the video.

  I can confirm that the Costco warranty is a nightmare. They ended up sending a repairman in the end but it was a huge pain to get to that part. Another issue is that the way they send the confirmation doesn&apos;t specify what item it is for so it gets really confusing if you get warranty on multiple appliances. I will never again buy Costco warranty.

  I remember when you used to buy most things in the 70s; it was called: guarantee. Then years later it was called warranty. &nbsp;It&apos;s cheating customers.

  The quality of goods bought at Costco has been going downhill for years! &nbsp;20 years ago, I could buy anything at Costco, and the quality was great. It might not have been the best price, &nbsp;but I could take it home, knowing it would last, and be better than most other items. Now, I search online, for reviews, for every item I buy at Costco. Many items are junk - like throwing your money away. <br><br>My favorite items used to be their meat, and sheets. Their meat was good quality, and cheap - now their beef is tough, and tastes like it comes from old animals. I bought crab a their last seafood roadshow. The crab stunk. It was well beyond its best before buy date - even though the label said it was good for 3 more days. I needed their crab for an important celebration - &nbsp;and didn’t have time to return it. I needed to go grocery shopping, to replace the crab. Often their produce is rotten. Their sheets used to last for years, were thick, soft, and didn’t pill. Now the fabric is thin and rough - I get tears in the fabric, after a short time. <br><br>I.haven’t bought Costco’s batteries for years, because they die quickly. Even in wall clocks - they go dead in weeks. About 5 years ago, I had an entire package of Costco batteries, that were dead, when I bought them.<br><br>I often let my membership lapse, until I really need something, and I check reviews on everything I buy. Costco used to help me buy large quantities of food for my large family - now I check everything online, before I buy anything.

  I used to buy Kirkland batteries, but I had allot of them be dead in the pack or explode. I went back to Duracell
