  What is there left to eat ??? Salted water in meats, pork meat from caged animals, glucophates in cereals, fruits and vegetables, eggs in inhumane battery cages, milk products in emprisoned cows, carraghenes a cancerous red algea for thickening in milk products or meats.<br>Then people wonder why we have cancer and inflammation.   Just yesterday I baked large chicken legs from Loblaws without adding any water. &nbsp;After baking they were almost covered with water. &nbsp;Lots of water. This post answered my questions.

  I now buy most of my chicken from the local butcher. His store is in a low income area, and his prices reflect this. The quality, however is incredible.

  I knew a meat inspector that travelled around all of BC checking meat departments in grocery stores. He said Costco had the cleanest packing and butcher area in most cities. &nbsp;He also said he would NEVER eat anything from SuperStore.

  I worked at the grocery store has a meat manager for 10 years and can tell you from experience that the product varies greatly at times depending on suppliers. On a week to week basis at times there could be such a difference in quality that it was embarrassing to put out the product

  If everybody just stopped buying all of this garbage chicken, they would have to change their ways. The public has the power to change this. But people are too lazy and they don&apos;t care about their health and they don&apos;t want to spend a little bit extra at the moment because they don&apos;t have enough money in the bank. At the end of the paycheck period because of the government robbing them every two weeks. So until our society wakes up and smells the proverbial coffee. This will never change

  Years ago we raised our own chickens... mainly Cornish Cross.<br>When I roasted the very first chicken I also roasted a store-bought one in another pan right next to it. The difference in volume loss, water vs fat in the pan, texture and taste was undeniable. It&apos;s difficult to eat the stuff that is sold in stores.

  I used to work for a Poultry Processor. One thing I learned is to buy &quot;Air Chilled&quot; chicken which does not have the CFIA allowed water and chemicals added to the chicken (Up to 8%) . Also IQF (Individual Quick Freeze) adds additional water to the chicken.
