  Thank you for this public service you provided for us.  Other UniFi videos go too fast to catch how to create the Objects in particular.  Blocking the IP’s of the other Gateways was something I didn’t think of, so that you for that as well, though I’m not sure how IoT for instance would be able to access, but I will will nonetheless block access.

  I've been watching and learning a great deal, without your video's I would have been lost. I recently installed a UDM Pro with a USW Pro Max 16 PoE at my house. I replaced an older TP Link which was slowly failing. I also installed several G6 PTZ cameras so I'm also running Unifi Protect. I'm watching this video and the security layout is different from mine, I gather it's an older version. I'm currently running Ver 5.0.16 on my UDM Pro.  I'm going to look at your other firewall video to see if a more updated ver is shown.

  Tim - Can I add my thanks for these great tutorials.  I got my first Unifi CG Max back in March  (and clicked the Zone Firewall upgrade not knowing what it meant.   Have expanded my network with hubs, cameras and APs and this weekend I followed along your excellent video series and have a working zoned firewall setup very much to your outline for IOT, Cameras etc.     Luckily I realised there was the update video on the zone approach so skipped Video6!    I did run into the IOT issue, but reordering the  mDNS rule instantly fixed my HomeKit IOT issues.   Thanks again!!

  First, thank you so much for your UniFi videos! Helped be setup my network and it already is working so much better. I was on the ATT provided modem/wifi and had people jumping onto my network and ran out of MAC address allow rule slots.  Beyond the great control, have experience much better network response. You made my transition to the Dream 7 very easy though it took time with all of my devices.  A comment on your camera network and not having to allow them to have internet access.  Some systems like SimpliSafe cameras send video directly to the cloud. Just a caveat that I found that you might want to add. I appreciate knowing how to handle local camera recording and may add that to my system.  Great Videos and appreciate how you give the information in a way so that I can build my network better through a better understanding of how to implement these firewall rules and setup.
