Alex Van Halen is probably THE most overlooked drummer in rock music. It has been easy for that to happen when your brother is Edward. Just listen to his drumming musicianship in the band that bore his name. There is no one else that sounds like him. It is about time someone recoginizes this legend of a man. And who better than the country from which he came. 👍

It was long overdue, too bad they should have given this when Edward stil was alive, but as a dutch man I am so proud of what they have achieved. Alex en Edward bedankt (thanx)voor alles (everything), de muziek (music),de herinneringen (memories)

Alex is one of the best to ever sit behind a drum kit. He is the reason I learnt drums as a teenager in high school. My favourite band too Ed n Alex were masters of their craft, great to see young Wolfgang Van Halen putting out some music, he is one helluva talent.

His drumming and the kit in the video of 'Jump' wakened my interest in drumming as a kid. I then listened aroubd the same time to what Simon Phillips (my all-time drum hero) did on Mike Oldfield's Crisis around the same time, and I was infected with the drumming virus forever.
