  I remember 1 of the things that pissed me off was cartographer or the person using the device not being able to use what it mapped out to get closer to the exit.

  Ridley calling Alien: Romulus a "bad" film after Prometheus, Convent & his recent The Dog Stars flop, will always be hilarious. He's a washed up hack who needed to retire years ago.

  To me introducing engineers was something I was really into, and wanted more of instead of aliens chasing people. I’m probably of the minority that didn’t want just another alien movie. But alas, fans of got what they wanted in Alien:Covenant after all the complaining.

  After Aliens, the only way I could find peace when approaching later entries is considering the franchise as an anthology of stories, very different stories from each other. I can't explain myself the franchise in any other way.

  For me personally i liked the idea of the xenomorph just being this terrifying creature that just existed out there in space that other aliens species out there knew about such as the predator species (don&apos;t want to misspell their actual name) and the space jockey species and not something that an android was messing around with as an experiment. i think prometheus would have been even better if it wasn&apos;t trying so hard to say &quot;hey this is an alien prequel&quot; throughout it. &nbsp;<br><br>to be honest if you were going to do an prequel if there were no humans and it had been solely focused on the &quot;space jockey&quot; &nbsp;story like they were transporting it for their own nefarious reasons such as they deploy the xenomorph onto planets they want to clear off the existing inhabitants and take for themselves and then they had some type of chemical released into the atmosphere that kills the xenomorph when they are done and they take over the planet but something went wrong when the space jockey and his crew were delivering the eggs to their next destination and they happened to crash on the planet from the first alien film

  This was a great movie. I think people’s expectations not being met are the problem, not the movie itself.
