  Didn't expect Star Ocean 5 is that bad. My favorite all time still the 2nd Story, the remake is superb with a lot of QoL.

  I am here to defend Reynatis! That game on sale is a good run for a weekend if you want something to just turn your mind off, plus it has cameos from The World Ends With You that actually makes good use of their characters.

  throwing the Akiba's Trip remaster on this list feels like a cop out. as you say, it's a remaster of a PSP title; nothing was really changed mechanically, so im not sure if you could call it a "modern" jrpg.

  Hot take: Various Daylife I got on a steep sale for $10 and I really enjoyed it. It’s confusing, made on a shoe string budget and it doesn’t feel at all like a square enix game. If I would’ve payed full price I would’ve lost my mind but for $10 I really liked it, all in all a 5.5/10

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvAY6ES4y7A&amp;t=881">14:41</a> every single video I&apos;ve seen cover that game mentions getting stuck and quitting at that particular fight. I&apos;m starting to wonder if anyone HAS gotten past that point in the game. Part of me wants to play the game just to see if I can find a way past that singular level.

  At least they gave the ppl who wanted the first game that was mobile an offline version for game preservation. They get big kudos for that

  I’ve played a handful of the games that you have shown and I’ve enjoyed most of them like star ocean loop8 dragon quest infinite slash and reynatis. I enjoy hearing other people’s opinions on what they thought about said game and that’s the beauty of video games not everyone will enjoy/like the same game in the same way
