  I know I definitely missed some… What dead MMOs should I check out in the future?

  What I find fascinating, and annoying, is that these dead MMOs still have servers running. Yet larger and fairly popular MMOs, that still had good life to them, were shutdown because they were considered dead.

It goes to the build height, and its fun to jump off of. I will say, I did joke to friends that one day it would be featured in an obscure MMO showcase. Thank you for making that a reality!

  I wonder if the other &apos;players&apos; you kept running into that never responded or replied were actually just leftover bots, forever farming in a dead world

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LIQe4WEWAs&amp;t=4239">1:10:39</a> fun fact me and my friend played this game like 4 months ago and we climbed to the top of that pillar. It was huge and took us 30m to reach the top.

  Some dead MMOs are great, but it makes me sad to play them when they&apos;re virtually empty 😢🎉

  I was a developer on one of these games and indirectly related to another. Underlight, and then we (Lyra Studios) licensed our updated network technology to Face of Mankind, we were actually working on a sequel to Underlight with that network code but it was never released.

  &quot;I&apos;m too stupid to play this game&quot; I haven&apos;t felt a statement as much as I feel this one. Perpetuum was not intuitive.

  Anyone else ever play Well of Souls? It was one of the earliest MMOs, and wow it was fun. Just a man, his son, and a mysterious artist who donated all the character sprites and disappeared. It&apos;s still up and free to play.

  Ryzom is a game I legit had hours and hours of fun in. At its peak, there were hundreds of players who would circle the world killing everything in a huge group, leveling people along the way. Being able to essentially &quot;build&quot; every skill, crafting included, was amazing.
