  I think Phantasy Star Universe did more to end single player Phantasy Star than PSO did. <br><br>I&apos;m still salty about Legaia 2 putting a quick end to that franchise. The first game was a lot of fun. The second suffered from bland, well, everything. The combat was fine, but nothing else about that game was memorable.

  Star Ocean 3s ending affects every single game in the series in such a huge way. Playing any other game hits different after 3 story wise when you know the twist.

  Shadow Hearts lives on as a Pachislot machine in Japan. There &nbsp;was however a Shadow Hearts 4(well 3 canonically) in preproduction before they got bought out, it was going to be a prequel starting Yuri and Kurandos father and also the Valentine Grandfather (black bat).

PSO was arguably a revival entry. PSU killed the franchise in the west but it continued on strong in Japan. Now PSO2NGS is in a rough place.

  For Chrono Trigger, but especially Chrono Cross the music composer was actually Yasunori Mitsuda, Nobuo Uematsu did help him finish some tracks of Chrono Trigger though.

  Small correction on Chrono Trigger! The main composer of Chrono Trigger was actually Yasunori Mitsuda. Nobuo Uematsu stepped in to assist after Mitsuda overworked and developed stomach ulcers, finishing a few tracks to help him out.

  Nomura isn&apos;t the main factor keeping new Parasite Eve games from happening, rather it&apos;s the Parasite Eve liecence that SquareEnix no longer has access to, hence why 3rd Birthday dropped the name in the first place and also why there haven&apos;t been any ports, remakes, or remasters of the first two games since the PS3. It&apos;s easy to forget that Parasite Eve is a sequel to a book of the same name written by Hideaki Sena.

  Not only did Star Ocean 3&apos;s twist ruin the series, every game since has been a prequel in some regard since the twist ending really makes it impossible to move forward.

  Shining Force III needs to be released. Someway, &nbsp;somehow. Even though 1 and 2 are all over in collections. &nbsp;They should do a complete pack with the Genesis games, sega cd and Saturn.

  As much as I think Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is an okay game (not nearly as good as the first two), we haven&apos;t had anything Golden Sun outside of Isaac being an assist trophy in Smash Ultimate. Personally, I&apos;d love for the series to come back, especially with how DD ended, but who knows if it will
