  Reese Witherspoon says to this day, women still come up to her and say bc of Elle, they went to law school or did something extraordinary bc they had the audacity to believe in themself!! 💙💙💙

  It's so interesting that most guys I see react to the moment when Elle is alone with Callahan in his office think things are going well and then are horrified / surprised at the turn, but basically all the female reactors start tensing right after he asks her to sit down, because they are already worried about what might be coming.

  One of the things I love about Legally Blonde is women supporting women. The girls in Elle’s sorority supported her decision to go to Harvard and helped to everything possible to get her in, cheering her on when she got her LSAT scores. I also love the confidence that Elle has in herself. She went out there, applied herself, and ending up falling in love with law and kicking so much butt at Harvard.

  She has a 4.0, has a library of extra curricular, got 179/180 on the LSAT, and has tons of experience in a field rife with lawsuits (fashion). It totally makes sense she got in.  She would be shien and temus worst nightmare.

  Harvard doctoral student here! When I moved into my dorm on my first night, we definitely watched this in the common room. People always quote, &quot;What, like it&apos;s hard?&quot; <br>Great video, guys!

  I love that this COULD have been a typical mean girl movie, or pitted the girls against each other - instead, it&apos;s 90% supportive girl friends throughout. It took Vivian a little while to come around, naturally, but she did. Elle&apos;s friends were immediately down with her going all study girl on them, never making fun of her ambitions and helping out as they could. And she never ever put down other girls (except maybe the &quot;bony and unpolished&quot; finger), instead giving them compliments and tips and pep talks as needed. <br>It could have been so toxic, and instead it&apos;s so wholesome and fun.

  I&apos;m so glad you caught her wearing pink again once she took over the trial! The symbolism is fantastic, it all starts with her looking for a not-pink dress for her engagement, gives up pink for law school, and the moment she comes back full committed to herself and not to getting Warner back she shows up in all pink again.

  Attended my younger sister’s graduation last year (she studied law), and the student speaker ended with “We did it!” <br><br>This movie has much deserved staying power.
