I was on an Amfleet car the other day with my dad (a furniture designer), I asked him how long it would take us to build a train car with comfortable seats. He said ‘we don’t have the technology to do it anymore’

I think I'm with you on the semi Luddite take: some things are good as screens, but making EVERYTHING a screen feels like it just means we'll see a lot of taped up printouts when the screens are out of order haha. Great to finally see the insides of these trains after watching the test unit circle my neighborhood for like half a year. That door opening sound effect is so intense!
