  You guys understand Jenny much better than most reactors. Her childhood was filled with trauma, particularly from her father. Its what she expects from people and she can&apos;t understand when people are good to her, which is why she runs. Great reaction y&apos;all.

  Forrest Gump&apos;s mind is not as cluttered as everyone else&apos;s minds are. &nbsp;<br>He may think on very simple terms, but he also thinks on very clear terms. &nbsp;Moral clarity.

  Gentlemen, &nbsp;I&apos;m 72 now and watched this movie when first released in 1994. One thing that&apos;s always bothered me, about me, throughout my life, is I cry too easy. Men are expected to suppress those emotions. I would often be embarrassed and ashamed for crying in situations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me that I am not weak because I cry. I&apos;ve watched this reaction more times than I can count. But wanted to tell you guys thank you, thank you, thank you. This world needs more compassion and empathy and there is nothing wrong with showing tears. Thank you again gentlemen.

  I don&apos;t think many people realized that the bus driver actually quit smoking. &nbsp;Her emphasis on chewing the gum whilst talking with Forrest Jr. at the end of the movie is a very subtle yet effective detail. &nbsp;This movie is filled with little details like this one and you will not get all of them unless you watch the movie over and over. &nbsp;It makes watching this movie over again such a great experience.

  I always felt like Jenny telling Forrest to run was because that’s the only way she knows how to get away from her problems and from a very young age she tried to teach her best friend what she knew.

  The thing about Jenny is that she always loved him as much as Forrest loves her but she didn&apos;t think she was good enough for him. She considered him one of the purest people and she thought she would taint him because she felt dirty after what her father, and then later scumbags, did to her. She had to get her mind right and realize it wasn&apos;t her fault and allowed herself to accept the unconditional love that Forrest gave freely.
