  I recently rewatched the trilogy for the first time in a VERY long time since it was going away on Netflix, and what stuck out to me was how grounded the films feel. Even the third, which in comparison isn&apos;t as well received because of how many extra villains and plot lines it has, still pales in comparison to how crazy and complicated today&apos;s Marvel films take their plots. This film truly stands the test of time because of how real and grounded it is, plus it doesn&apos;t shy away from being campy thanks to Sam Raimi. Like you said, all the relationships between characters feel real because we are actually allowed time to sit with them, have them all interact with one another, etc and the payoff feels earned.

  Tobey is the only actor i see as Peter Parker or Spiderman ,the others seem like just cosplaying

  Something ironic I noticed on my latest watchthrough. <br><br>Peter Parker is asked repeatedly by multiple main characters to keep secrets and tell lies. <br>Even &quot;Spiderman&quot; requires Peter to keep secrets and tell lies. <br><br>Bringing the phrase, &quot;the tangled webs we weave&quot; to life with maximum irony.<br><br>Spiderman slings webs, but Parker has his own webs to weave

  The first movie is tremendous and it really came out at the perfect time. I&apos;m 35 and I remember 9/11. Spider-Man really was America&apos;s hero for a long time. It&apos;s kind of funny that when we needed Spider-Man, he was there.

  Spider-Man 2 is the all time masterpiece of the trilogy, but in 2002 and 2003, I was rewatching the original every chance I would get. I love these movies and they will never be surpassed
