I know most people choose Tobey Maguire. And there’s a good number of people out there who choose Andrew Garfield. But to me, Tom Holland will always be the GOAT of the cinematic iterations of Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

Bear in mind Tom's dad is a screenwriter, and he no doubt has a huge PR team to guide the stories. Whilst all these stories probably have a foundation in truth, the detail and emphasis has developed over the years until it is unrecognisable from the odd sentence thrown away in original interviews. Eg his reputaion for spoilers: in the old days you can tell he is deliberately releasing spoiler information for the studio when he licks or tightens his top lip before speaking. (He has stopped doing that as he got older).
