The point of Coach Carter asking who won the state championship the last year wasn’t about studying your opponents. He was proving that highschool accolades don’t matter. Unless you transition to the college level or the NBA, nobody really remembers what you did in highschool.

What’s hilarious is the way Jaby keeps mentioning the Asian kid not having any lines and to be honest, I have seen this movie so many times and not once have I ever even noticed the Asian kid being there at all 😂
