Four Brothers is one of those movies people forget until they rewatch it and go, ‘Damn… this was fire.’ Underrated classic.

Singleton said that Bobby did not have a vision of his mom at Thanksgiving like the other brothers because he had not yet accepted that she was gone. That’s why he doesn’t see her until the end.

My headcannon is that the reason Evelyn left the rooms the same is that the boys would always feel welcome if they came home. They were foster kids who got shuffled through a lot of houses and she just wanted them to know they had a home.

Sofia Vagara was in a bunch of hood films before she became a house hold name.

'Four Brothers' is a hood classic. Me and a group of my friends went and saw this in the theater opening weekend in 2005.

Great chemistry in this film. They really came across as brothers

Its just something about that "Trouble Man" joint by Marvin Gaye at the beginning of the film that really sets the mood of this movie.

Always loved the tagline for this movie "They came home to bury their mother...and her killer."
