https://www.dralexnewsletter.com/ Join the community by signing up to my daily newsletter! Practical health advice, straight to your inbox, every morning. I'd love you to join me.

It's called The Long Game, and it's an extension of everything I do here on the channel. Every morning I'll send you something short, whether that's a thought I've had that day, a tip you can put into practice, a piece of research I found interesting, or something I've learned from years of seeing people at their worst in A&E.

Most take between thirty seconds and a couple of minutes to read, so it fits around a normal morning, certainly shorter than my videos anyway...

I've called it The Long Game because that's what all of this is. There are no shortcuts and no quick fixes in anything I teach. It's small things done consistently over many years, and that's what genuinely changes your health in the end.

It's free, and you can sign up here: https://www.dralexnewsletter.com

This is brand new, and so the first few emails may end up in your spam, as with all new email newsletters, but hopefully this will soon sort itself out....

Let me know what you think!

If you’d like to support me, the best thing you can do is click the like button and subscribe. It really helps these videos reach more people who might benefit from them, and it allows me to keep making them!

Best wishes,
Alex

Ill but not dead … the business model of industrial medicine. That is so true and frankly, disturbing. In other words they want you dying but not dead. I don’t think the vast majority of people grasp this, they still think of the medical system as health care, when it is really sick care.

I used to teach Home Economics a lifetime ago, when a good meal was meat and two veg alongside half a plate of carbs! Oh, how times (and science) have changed! I love the current body science (food and exercise). If this is not taught in schools, it should be. It's a lifelong (and long life) lesson.

You need to become a schools ambassador and tell the politicians that Healthcare begins in school, not in the NHS. I remember learning how to dissect an earthworm and list all its part to pass a Biology exam. Nothing about my own parts and how to look after myself. Albeit in my mid sixties I am maddened by the utter crap kids learn today that simply prepares them to work but not remain fit and well !

Hello everyone and thank you for watching! I really hope you found this video useful. I read as many of your comments as possible and try to reply to as many as I can every day across the channel. The community on this channel is absolutely fantastic.... people sharing their stories, supporting each other, and learning together. It's amazing to see.

It means a lot to me that this has become a space where people are interested in the simple things that keep us healthy and prevent problems before they ever reach the hospital. If there’s a topic you’d like me to explain in a future video, please let me know in the comments.

If you’d like to support me, the best thing you can do is click the like button and subscribe. It really helps these videos reach more people who might benefit from them, and it allows me to keep making them!

My goal with these videos is simple: to help as many people as possible stay healthier and avoid ending up in the emergency department if we can.

And just in case there's any doubt... any AI-generated videos of me are completely fake and not affiliated with me in any way. I’m actively reporting these channels, and I’d encourage you to do the same if you see them.

Dr Alex 😊

This myositis most alarming. Stopped statin & BP meds. BP perfected now taking red beet powder in smoothies
Developed my own exercise/movements to deal with the muscle damage… This ranges that I am deeply in touch with my body. Still teaching/ taking ballet barre when possible. as well. CPK numbers have been dropping over three months… But serious caution in day-to-day moving/walking,😮this healing “ loops”! etc.. I’m doing all I can in selective exercise self designed!
Your input always exceptional.. great reminders!
Bless you!

Everyday my husband and I eat 5 veggies and a meat. We started calling our meals that because we have so many fresh garden veggies in the summer.
Today we had cabbage, onion, carrots, pepper, okra, and beans with ham and sides of cucumber salad and a beet. Everything came from our garden except the carrots and ham. 🤓

I’ve taken the recommendations that you’ve made over your many videos and incorporated them into my diet and lifestyle in general. Not only do I feel better that I’m doing the things that keep me healthy, most importantly I am in control of my health as opposed to just relying on medications.
