So you don't have to refill the pool with fresh cold water, you can cover the pool with a tarp and then throw a few bowls of water you froze the day before into the pool to slowly melt in and cool it off again. :)<br><br>Thank you for sharing, as always!

For your garden, make sure the melon and cucumber aren't too close to each other, because they'll cross breed and make a weird cucumber-melon 😂

Tokyo's heat and humidity during summer's BRUTAL! I'm from Zurich, living in Tokyo. Every summer I move to my summer house in rural mountain area of Nagano to escape the oppresive heat and humidity of Tokyo !

In summer time I dampen a face cloth and put it in the fridge for a little while then place it around the back of my neck. you could use the ice shaver containers and put fruit in them with water or milk and freeze them, then you could make a sorbet like dessert. That is an awesome idea of a pool in your garden. Millie is such a beautiful cat and your garden is lovely.

The psychology involved in the conception and design of so many of these certain placebos is so brilliant! The gentle tinkling of a wind chime DOES seem to combine with other things to create a cooling effect, it's terrific. Love your channel. PS= The outdoor pool, the stubby holder! The next step would be bringing your laptop out to rest on a low table so you can watch your favourite shows whilst lying in the pool. Imagine it at dusk on a Friday evening in Summer, knowing you don't have to work the next day! What joy. You can put on a sheet mask, eat fresh fruit, read a novel or watch TV whilst lying in your own pool. Brilliant work Chani! 🍻🌴🌴🌴✌

I'm from a Caribbean island where it normally reaches 37 or 38 degrees in summer, and winter temps are never below 28 degrees in the daytime. When I moved to Japan 8 years ago I was shocked a how brutally humid it was. Much worse than home! <br><br>My summers are spent mostly indoors in the AC giving our hard earned yen to Osaka Power. I've already experienced all the festivals and other summer activities so I'm just fine waiting for late September to arrive and the weather to dry up.
