Genuinely seeing people shit on Kirby and Metroid because of this.

It has been a too long since the last 3D Mario but people are being annoying when they ignore every other game coming out for the system. If Mario fans can get invested in other Nintendo franchises like Fire Emblem, Metroid or Kirby, you'll always have something new and interesting to play.

The second Nintendo announces a new Mario game, the same people are gonna complain Nintendo are too reliant on Mario and should make a new IP instead.

People want a 3D open world platformer.

and guess what, we're getting a 3D open world platformer.

Kirby and the World Beyond is probably going to be an amazing game.

so does it matter that it is not Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom, I don't think so

I want Nintendo to release a statement saying, “Here’s what the 3D Mario game would look like if we released it today” and it’s just the most unfinished game they’ve ever created

Can't wait to see those Nintendo is doomed videos with that one image of Miyamoto looking nervous with his hand on his head or the other one where he has his hands up

Imagine Nintendo announced the next 3D Mario and it was actually called “Super Mario Titans”? The internet would combust

Personally, I think it’s neat that Nintendo is letting their other franchises have their chance in the spotlight before releasing Mario.
