The price is not the most important red flag about ground beef at the moment.<br>If you can afford to buy whole beef at a local butcher and have them ground it for you - do that.<br>Otherwise....I'd steer clear of ground beef for the forseeable future. There are... issues.

We had dry pinto beans, neck bones, onion, green peppers, seasonings and white rice. Fed 7 with leftover. Delicious and filling.

We take lentils and Jimmy Dean sage sausage and make a big pot . It is so good . Brown the sausage 1 st and add to the cooking beans , with a chopped onion , and garlic . My crowd eats it for 2-3,meals .. sometimes I fry an egg to go with it too ..
