Never seen such an in depth video of a rod being made. Awesome job getting this filmed.

This is pretty sweet, the type of company we should support.

What a great video! I was on the fence but seeing this as a true American made rod I’ll be placing an order today to support home grown companies.

Pain in the ass to build on because of the raw finish but worth it when it's done.

I can't believe that the visitor being a fisherman is holding that useless coffee pot in his hands, preventing him from actually taking the rods in his hands, looking for balance point, weight, etc, etc.

Splining every blank is the single greatest trait to rod building. It makes semi custom, low run rods special. Great to see these guys soldiering on into the future!! Its an art and these guys are very good at it.

Wonderful to see USA company making rods. I would definitely buy Cashion.

After seeing how many hands touch a rod I cannot believe Cashion can sell their rod for as low as they do. Thought for sure they would be more expensive. Great video.

Great to see, most 'rod builders' buy in blanks and just whip on eyes and fix a reel seat/ handle.

My cousin and I found cashion at a sports show near chicago several years ago. Together we purchased 5 rods. They were the original icon series. Their best rod at the time. We were told they carried a lifetime warranty. No questions asked. We are not pros. Truly get out a hand full of times each year. 4 out 5 five have snapped while bring in a fish. When we called for replacements, we were told the warranty requires a $90 replacement fee. 4 out of 5 breaking. That tells me there is or was clearly an issue with their blanks. I can't see spending another $90. All in $240 each. When there are other options out there that may not claim "lifetime warranty". But, seem to last decades without breaking. I did reach out to icon. We were offered no solution or compromise.
