I use the cheapos. If my boxes are submerged, that means my boat sunk. Not really worried about my tackle boxes at that point. And I'm pretty sure I have enough sense to not run them over with my truck.

PSA - FWIW, to stop "migration" in any of these boxes just cover the inside of the lid with gaffers tape. One layer usually does it.

I have used the Kastking HyperSeal and Plano Edge Terminal Boxes for a couple of years now with no issues. I appreciate the torture test video as a fun test to watch, but not really that concerned about that much abuse. I keep my boxes in my BlackPak Pro and only access them while kayak fishing or on my workbench reloading them. My biggest fear is not getting the fully stuffed Plano Edge Terminal box latched properly and spilling out all its content in my lap.

Fun test. I’ve been using the old-style, translucent boxes for over 60 years. A couple have warped some but that’s it. I have a KastKing and it’s fine too. Of course I don’t submerge mine and I don’t drop them on concrete.

I have switched out of the Plano edge for Buzbe because even rain was getting in at times. I have had no issues at all with Buzbe and I love the versatility they provide. Have about 15 of them at this point. Never had a handle fail, but also have not been dropping them from the roof of the house. I have dropped them in the garage from waist high dozens of times, no issues at all.

I have the kastking they def keep water out if you use the 3600, the 3700 have a little more flex to them and sometimes the latch doesn't close perfect. they are very similar to the plano edge and that seal takes less than 10 seconds to put back in place

Some tackle box got so expensive. I still use $4 tackles box from Walmart
