  I’ll go a little bit off topic but, as a non-english mother tongue, i noticed that you speak in a very clear way. I think that be easily understood by other people (foreigner or not) is a feature that belong to a real gentleman.

  I am a senior gentleman and I have words of encouragement for the younger men . Thanks to the majority of modern men dressing like disaster refugees these days, it’s easier than ever to be a class act! Way back in the early 60s everyone wore suits and if you wanted to stand out you really had to work at it! Playboy magazine had a monthly section called the Playboy Advisor that would go into minute details about how your tie clasp should match your cuff links and what kind of shoe laces you should wear, etc.<br>Now days you show up in a clean shirt with a sports coat and nice shoes you will likely be the best dressed guy there. 😂

  Well, peacocking is so easy nowadays, since people are dressed really sloppy. All it takes is just to wear a polo, chinos and boat or dress shoes, but to me, it is still not enaugh and my minimum attire is chinos, dress shoes, dress shirt, sport coat with pocket square. I even wear ties here and there depending on a mood and situation. Nowadays it is too much to most folks, but it does not matter, because it makes me happy and that is the most important thing. Of course in the biggest and wealthy cities, it is not difficult to do what you want thanks to diversity and people are used to anything there.

  Dress clean, a bit overdress, but never showy. And the key is the fit, usually most people does not have a great fit on their clothes (took to many years to lesrn this).

  Men rarely wear pink, I have a few pastel-pink shirts, a winchester, an oxford and a linen and I always receive compliments from men and women when wearing. Until very recently it was considered a masculine colour (derived from red).
