  At that time, beards were not in style. Shortly before, they were. That changes with the times. I have a beard, that i keep well kept and the ladies love it.

  I recently was asked to attend a birthday dinner. &nbsp;Dressed as I usually do for a nice night out: nicely shined shoes, slacks, dress shirt and tie. &nbsp;We live in a beach community and suits and sports coats are usually not worn. &nbsp;I was the most nicely dressed man there. &nbsp;I didn’t see anyone with a tie or a dress shirt. &nbsp;I received compliments from the ladies at our table.

  I&apos;m a 53 year old man, clean shaven with no tattoos or piercings. I&apos;m the only male in my workplace who displays those three characteristics. &nbsp;It dawned on me recently that being clean cut is never going to come back in style. Like men wearing suits and hats to a baseball game, clean cut, hygienic men (and woman) are relegated to the scrap heap of history. It makes me sad.
