I saw albert lee as my second gig after tommy emmanuel, and as he signed my guitar I had a brief chat, and honestly, he is one of the nicest people I've ever met

As long I have listened to music, Albert Lee has been there, showing up here and there and everywhere. And what a guitar player! He has brought so much joy to so many people. Seems like a nice guy too :-)

Met Mr Lee in the early 90's at the Ernie Ball factory in San Luis Obispo, California.Free Q and A session. Only a hundred or so musicians came, so I got to talk to him. What a great person. Humble. He discussed touring with Eric Clapton and the song "Lay down Sally."How he got the sound. He played the chording and it sounded exactly like thetune. Cool. My band plays the tune and I think about him every time we play it.

Yes, he is such a laid back, nice gentleman. I will never miss another Albert Lee gig in Toronto, after seeing him twice. 'Makes your hair stand on end, he's so good!
