Guys, you should probably chop out the performance of Highwayman at the end and re-upload it as a separate video - many people probably won't get to the end of a 2hr video and realise that there's an amazing performance there.

👏👏👏💕💕💕 What a musician and what a gentleman! This interview needs to be preserved as part of the history of country music. Hats' off the The Captain for letting the great Albert Lee speak without interruptions.

BBC should just give up and start buying these interviews off you. That was...magnificent.

You have to hand it to Albert Lee’s parents for co-signing all those guitar purchases. He sure didn’t let them down. Kudo’s to the captain for this and all the other great interviews and reviews.

That rendition of Highwayman was enough to give this grown man the chills. What an amazing human and what a wonderful tribute to your late father-in-law. A wonderful reminder of why we do music!
