Boundaries to a narc are like a red rag to a bull. Silence is golden.

May all who are experiencing this abuse, mistreatment and sickness find the strength and a way to get away and begin their healing 🙏🏼

In my experience narcs behave oblivious to my boundaries. And act shocked, SHOCKED!, when enforced. No contact is SO unreasonable!! Well. Worked for me. 😊

Narcissistic people are VERY firm in their boundaries. Yet they see your boundaries as ants in their kitchen, a disgusting pestilence that invades their space and requires them to lock, load, and deploy all their weapons.

Something about this that is rarely discussed but NEEDS to be understood.
Your not the first person they did this to and your not the only person they are doing it to. They have had A LOT of experience with how people will behave when they do it. They know that the odds are in their favor.
You are at a disadvantage simply because you don't behave this way towards others. And they have been practicing their game for a long time....
Know this....let this be the first thing that comes to mind when it happens.
As opposed to the excuse THEY KNOW MOST will come up with to over look it just so things wont get worse.
It wasn't an accident, a mindless mishap, a bad moment they milked all day, a forgetful lapse....they know what they are doing and are gambling on a life time of experience that you TOO.... wont clock them for it.
It is this...at work in them
Because sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of mankind is fully set in them to do evil.

I started to say 'no' to reiciving favors when I discovered those 'favor' were used as coins they could ask back later on.

Ha ha! You've just described my wife down to a T. She asks for these little favors all the time. Get me a glass of water, for example, in the middle of the night. Or, read that message for me. And when I say no, all hell breaks loose.

Gaslighting, guilt tripping, extreme temper tantrums, silent treatments are all part of her toolbox.

I am so tired of all this drama.

I have chest pains from all the unnecessary stress she causes me.

When I took my ex back, I told him if he started ghosting me, two days - even one day, I was not putting up with it. Things were going ok until I told him I needed to go to bed at 9:30 pm on work nights, as I get up at 4:30am and work 12 hour shifts. He literally called me at 9:28 pm on a night before I worked. I didn’t answer. He called again at 9:50, then again at 10:25 pm. I kept my boundary and did not answer. He then ghosted me for 2 days. At that point I ended the relationship. It was so obvious he saw my boundary as a challenge to his control.
