Something to know is that candida overgrowth can cause alcohol cravings. A good book to read is Seven Weeks to Sobriety by Joan Matthews Larson, PhD., It details how to stop alcohol cravings via nutrition plus other factors. Another book I would recommend reading Get Sober, Stay Sober. However, I would recommend reading Seven Weeks to Sobriety first.

Im sure you didn't mean it like that but you said detoxing from " even just alcohol ". I've detoxed from a very serious opioid addiction and also alcohol. A physically dependent alcoholic detox is WAY worse. I've done both more times than im proud of.
