  I've been sober 60 days today. I swear the demons have been after me full blast.  Every simple thing has been going wrong.  I was tempted to go to the liquor store.  I'm learning.  It will pass.  And I'm so grateful I didn't give in.😅😅

  🥶 turkey from  20 years of heavy drinking ‼️ 12 years sober and still going threw protracted withdrawal 😢 Sobriety is my superpower 💜💪🏾

  I was arrested for a dui crash 2 years ago and was recently hospitalized for withdrawl which was more shame and terrifying. Now im looking forward to a life free from addiction

  I started out around 19 or so. Drank every night for probably 6-7 years, then cut back for about 3-4 years, then back to it every night and finally cut back a ton Jan 1 of this year. Honestly need to stop altogether. I'm getting too old for this crap.

  I drank the same. For twenty years. Got sober and my life is still shitty, sucky and miserable. Fuck this life, I'm over it.

  Sobriety is not only possible, but probable...&quot;IF&quot; we are willing to make an effort! <br> Most people never consider the monumental effort they made to drink, yet when it is suggested that they actually have to move their feet differently to get sober...they&apos;re not interested. Up to and including death! Their own, or someone else.<br> What would the neighbors think if they knew someone mentioned a higher power in a meeting of recovery??? The drunk will say, &quot;Ya, my life is a fucking train wreck, but don&apos;t ask me to believe in ANYTHING except myself&quot;. &quot;We can&apos;t have any of THAT&quot;! <br> The absurdity is off the charts!

  I don&apos;t know why paramedics ask what drugs you&apos;re on, when you&apos;re in a liquor store. &nbsp;I&apos;ve known people to have seizures while in liquor stores from withdrawal. &nbsp;That&apos;s the entire reason why they&apos;re there...to get alcohol. &nbsp;And alcohol IS a drug.

  Wow. Those hospital visits were not okay. Those doctors should be sued for malpractice and who the hell gives you an incentive to go back to drinking and then gives you Klonopin that&apos;s the worst thing that can give you. It&apos;s mind-blowing. But congratulations. But if I were you I would sue these doctors from malpractice.
