love how after all the boots you've had, your favorite is White's — one of the only brands you've covered that don't pay YouTubers for any sales they make! What better testament to their quality that we still can't shut up about them

My personal pick for watch is Casio F91W. It'll easily last 20+ years and you don't even cry when you buy it. Only thing that's better than 'buy once, cry once' is that 'buy once and no need to cry'.

I have a travel bag/backpack bought through Rick Steve's store in 1989. It's gone with me all over the US & Europe and is going strong.

The original Leatherman did not have locking blades, mid 90s ish. That tool was dangerous , they did fix it after some time but as a professional tradesman I went to Gerbers one handed opening for 30 years. I went through three of them…I might still have one of the leathermans.

My Citizen Atomic Eco-Drive watch worked perfectly for 16 years, zero maintenance, and no scratches. It was daily wear during this time. Lately it is unable to receive the radio signals, and I suspect the battery may need to be replaced. Bought another, while procrastinating on the repair.
