  i watch all these creators mostly as background noise during chores or whatever but i have never heard one of them acknowledge that their content also profits off overconsumption, idk it's just a weird vibe to me

  They&apos;re confusing under consumption with minimalism when the average Joe isn&apos;t a minimalist and will have a few more trinkets than just one or two items 😭<br><br>And then they accidentally send their audience to attack you when you show off a typical household and collections 😭😭😭

  it feels like when people buy stuff thats trendy or collect more &quot;girly&quot; things, its overconsumption, but when its &quot;boyish&quot; things that is being collected, its just collecting. obviously it isnt always the case and theres obviously cases where its an issue, but its how it feels to me at times

  I personally started to be annoyed by so many &quot;creators&quot; just take other people&apos;s content of a certain topic and barely add any personal input or the input is the same on every commentary channel. <br>It&apos;s lazy.

  This is why I stopped watching Kiki&apos;s content and it also became redundant because she was just scoffing at each item and video and saying how the person didn&apos;t need all that when that&apos;s obvious after the 80th video and you repeating it AGAIN in the video 💀

  i actually like rachel’s videos somewhat but i think her audience is mostly children or teens, which is why they’re questioning if owning 3 of one item is overconsumption 😭 i feel like grown mentally developed adults would know that having a personal collection is NOT overconsumption. i’ve never questioned my LPS collection once tbh

  Id be lying if i said i didnt enjoy the doggin on overconsumption videos but i agree a lot of them are just becoming cheap and making fun of people instead of offering solutions. I love watching a circus but we gotta be fr and maybe not attack individuals

  The root is reaction/commentary content as a whole. It&apos;s eating itself, reactors reacting to reactions. Strangers nitpick other strangers for the sake of posting content. I don&apos;t think most of them mean to be helpful (a few do because they offer tips and talk about curbing shopping addiction more deeply in on their channels) but I think a lot of them just use it as stuff to talk about. People don&apos;t even have to overconsume, they could be cooking, cleaning, reviewing movies, reacting, vlogging, etc. and someone else on the internet will be sharing their 2 cents about it and getting monetized.
