As much as I like the final showdown in, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," I find this ending more emotionally satisfying. 😊

Out of all the Western movies, I feel like this one has the perfect ending. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is a spectacle, but the ending of For a Few Dollars More is both entertaining and emotional at the same time.

I always loved, how Sergio Leone, stretched the time in the final duells.<br><br>For the shot, i mean the moment of violence, he spended always, just one second.<br><br>But for the ritual it self, minutes and minutes. Faces, eyes, sweat, mimic, music, atmosphere. <br><br>Pure cinema.<br><br>Watched his movies, a 1000 Times, and will watched them a 1000 times more😎

My favorite of the Leone/Eastwood films. Mortimer's revenge motive is so much more a driving force than the treasure hunt of GBU.

The watch chimes are used again in the final duel of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" to help build tension there too. Good reference from Sergio Leone to this movie.
