  Chronic pain has changed my life. Sometimes I’ll get injured and not even know because my body already hurts so bad in other places that my brain can’t process &nbsp;more pain signals.<br><br>Take care of yourself young men, you only get one body.

  Everyone remember that Jerome Bettis documentary ? And that was when he was still playing. Practiced only on Friday and Saturday was spent drawing fluid from his knee, calf, and ankle. Sunday morning was 3-5 pain medication shots. Then he&apos;d play. If it was a home game he went home and stayed in bed for 1-2 days. If it was an away game he stayed in bed at his hotel 1-2 days before flying to join the team. In his book &quot; The Bus: My Life in and Out of a Helmet &quot; he documents the pain of his numerous injuries and the extent of medical interventions that kept him playing up to and including the end of his struggle to even stand up on his own.

  This is why I don&apos;t blame players when they choose money over playing for championships. I wouldn&apos;t take a pay cut just to help bring in a player who Might help us win a super bowl. Idgaf
