  I generally don't care that much about powerscaling, but when the story revolves around characters who are literally defined by their monstrous strength you have to have a MINIMUM of consistency for the story to make sense

  Conquest is so strong that he chops through Invincible&apos;s spine and intestines, yet was unable to... perhaps... chop off Invincible&apos;s arms the same way when arm bones are weaker than the spine so it&apos;s not only easier but also he&apos;s able to regain his breath again?

  the contrast of giving Mark fucking FINALLY locking the fuck in at season 3 and doing a training montage only for him to IMMEDIATE get his shit pushed in by Dr. Sesmic and the kaiju only to be then handled by Reaniman who are lucky to survive two hits from a Viltrumiiite is.... just profoundly frustrating.<br><br>wont even get into the internal speedster problems that always haunt speedsters.

  Powerscaling has been so memed that people forget it has actual narrative value, it&apos;s important for the readers to understand stakes, tension, and threats

  Worst thing they did that one season was do a training montage and saying how strong he was and actually gave us ways to compare. Just made him getting hus ass kicked more frustrating.
