  It&apos;s telling that even the Disney+ Imagineering series has the Disney folks openly saying this was terrible and &quot;never build a park just to use up land space.&quot;

  The worst part is that because Disney Studios, the actual Disneyland Park have been frozen in time for literally decades. No new rides since 1995&apos;s space mountain from earth to the moon (which actually saved the park and now it&apos;s ruined by star wars). Since then the only &quot;new&quot; ride is a refurbishment of Le Visionarium that became Buzz Lightyear&apos;s Astro Blasters

  I think it&apos;s funny that twice Disney didn&apos;t understand that the Universal Hollywood tram &nbsp;is interesting because it was in an active studio that already had prestige

  I live in the uk and I was always so confused when Americans would say ‘Walt Disney Studio isn’t even a real studio’. I was like ‘of course it’s not a real studio… it’s a theme park…’. Only later did I realise that they are used to the idea of MGM Studios in America, which was meant to be a real studio. It has a lot of problems, but I don’t see a problem with Walt Disney Studios being a fake studio.

  It&apos;s funny how when DLP opened the French hated it and didn&apos;t want it, but now when you hear French and other UK people talk about it they love it and are extremely proud of it and brag about it

  I went shortly after the opening of studios, and thought it was a really adult park, being pretty young at the time, Rock n Rollercoaster and Armageddon were really imposing, and the overall vibe was super serious. I also remember even then thinking this park is tiny

  Good thing HKDL didn&apos;t fall into the same trap. They had land reserved for them to use up to a specific date and if that land was not used, it would go back to the govt.

  The fact that DisneySea was built around the same time isn&apos;t proof of Corporate disney, its proof of OLC telling corporate disney what it wanted and not accepting anything less than great! While DLP is the most beautiful park, the cast members are the WORST I&apos;ve EVER seen or had to deal with, and that&apos;s from Asia to the U.S. and of course Europe. While we had some good times at the studios park, it was clear that it wasn&apos;t a great park for theming. My daughter liked it mostly because she loved the old Tower of Terror and hated the remake in CA, so this was her chance to relive that ride again albeit in French! Crush was a &quot;decent&quot; short ride, the online games were fun while in queue. the rest of the park was mostly forgettable and lots of dead ends and false fronts. Not even any decent food either. It made DCA seem quaint in comparison!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOdWYRTWNvY&amp;t=1579">26:19</a> European POV: it is the most difficult theme parc name&apos;s to pronounce for most of the non English speaking people 😂 &nbsp;French, Italian, Spanish, German...we almost all struggle to say this name without a terrible accent 🥲
