  Well, now I understand why it took so long to repaint It. You gotta work around the weather and make sure that projections works on it and it’s not just painting it.

  I don’t know who’s taken control of this channel but I really appreciate the risks they’re taking by being a bit more forthcoming with true behind-the-scenes access at the risk of giving away trade secrets etc.<br><br>It’s no secret how closely Disney typically protects that kind of stuff but even as a huge Disney parks fan and armchair imagineer i &nbsp;hardly ever watch these kind of videos because I’m assuming they’ll be five-minute PR fluff pieces that don’t actually tell me anything I didn’t already know about imagineering or the creative process, but the Soarin video was fantastic and I’m looking forward to watching this one now! Thank you and please keep doing what you’re doing right now.

  I was one of the animators on Happily Ever After almost ten years ago. We spent months putting that show together and then about three weeks living at Disney (the animation team was based in California), working nights to add finishing touches. Balancing the projection work with the paint of the castle was a lot of work. Glad to see the show is still going all these years later!

  IMO, this is the best that Cinderella Castle has ever looked! It feels like it combines the best aspects of both the classic color scheme and the one from the 50th!

  What an amazing video! The painting, the dialogue between Imagineering and the team making the changes in the projections are magical moments to watch. Congratulations to everyone involved, it was a beautiful result! 🏰✨
