  TBF, when I was at epic, i saw the least number of people on their phones ive seen at any of the other parks

  I&apos;ve called this park &quot;The Greatest Theme Park in the World... On Paper&quot;<br><br>It seems like whenever you enter, you roll the cosmic dice and hope the park cooperates with you that day.

  I went when it was dead empty and it was amazing. Rode everything multiple times before 2. And the ministry when its relatively empty inside is breathtaking

  I somewhat disagree. &nbsp;I think Epic Universe is excellent overall, but I do agree about the lack of indoor attractions that are crucial when the weather is stormy. &nbsp;The park is still very new, and a lot of new theme parks struggle in the early years with operations and various flaws, and this also applies to Disney parks. &nbsp;We were fortuate with the weather when we were there, but I do understand how people can be negatively affected by it. &nbsp;All things considered, I believe many of the issues will be fixed in the coming years, but even now I think the the good outweights the bad. &nbsp;As an aside, the quick service restaurants are among the best I&apos;ve ever experienced at any theme park, &nbsp;so there is that as well.

  I’ve spent five wonderful days in Epic Universe, because the weather cooperated. I carefully chose times that weren’t going to be busy. The rides were fully functional, and even the in-ground lighting was recently replaced with a more reliable system.<br><br>BUT<br><br>Attendance levels are too high for a phase-1 theme park. The place is almost always overcrowded because there isn’t enough to do.<br><br>Universal is greedily overselling VIP tours that constantly stop those overcrowded queues.<br><br>On all five trips, employees were dispatching empty ride vehicles, and nobody seemed to know how to control wait times for the two shows.<br><br>And of course, this park was built in one of the most unpredictable climates in America, and almost everything is outdoors, in the rain or heat.<br><br>All these factors will eventually be fixed, but in the meantime, Universal can only fix the guest experience by swallowing its pride, capping crowd levels, and admitting it’s a phase-1 park. Luckily, expansions are already being built.

  I’d say you were unlucky. I’ve been five days spent the entire day at the park and never had any issues and never felt like there wasn’t enough to do

  We just got back<br><br>Can&apos;t argue with anything you said. &nbsp;We were lucky to be there mid august, so it was a lot quieter (unlike Disney the week before which had felt like rush hour London)<br><br>For a year old park we got a lot of B Mode and broken animatronics, which was frustrating <br><br>But, even without the foliage to cover you when it rains/feels like a summer in Dubai, the promise and layout of the place really put the feeling of park back into Theme Park. &nbsp;Well laid out, never felt crowded, and when the rides are running the ops are insane<br><br>It definitely feels like it is 4 or 5 rides (and a forest of trees) short of being mature, but it has raised the bar, and put the much needed boot up Disney&apos;s derriere to force their onward investment<br><br>And for this, we as theme park goers will be the winners<br><br>It was also good to get a hint of the paucity of rides we should expect when Universal GB opens for day 1

  We went in January and had 5 different rides break down while in line, which means we wasted a huge amount of time in line and did not get any line skipping tickets. On the plus side, both shows are very good

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeB2pNBC2Qo&amp;t=282">4:42</a> None of Universals theme parks in Orlando have any shade. Maybe islands of adventure does depending on the land but even then there’s whole lands that are just baron concrete and heat.
